Attorney Claudia Echeverri-George is the founding and managing partner of Echeverri Law Firm, P.A. The Firm serves clients in the Tampa Bay area and neighboring counties with personal injury matters.

Ms. Echeverri-George was born in Colombia. She relocated with her parents and two brothers to the U.S. at the tender age of ten. She quickly learned the English language and devoted herself to her studies. She graduated from Tampa Catholic High School in 1996 and went on to pursue her bachelor’s degree at the University of South Florida, where she was awarded with the Latino Scholarship Award.

While taking multiple courses at USF, Ms. Echeverri-George developed an interest in law. She majored in criminology and decided to become an attorney. In December of 2003 Ms. Echeverri-George graduated from Nova Southeastern University, obtaining her Juris Doctorate degree.

In May of 2004 she began her career as a prosecutor after accepting a coveted position with the State Attorney’s Office in Hillsborough County. There, she handled thousands of cases ranging from simple misdemeanors to serious felonies. She tried approximately 80 trials to verdict. In addition, she negotiated thousands of cases and argued countless motions as she sharpened her skills as a negotiator and as a litigator.

While she greatly enjoyed and valued her position with the State Attorney’s Office, Ms. Echeverri-George always knew she wanted to pursue private practice. After leaving the State in 2007 she accepted a position with a prominent attorney in Tampa. It wasn’t long however, Ms. Echeverri-George decided to fulfill her dream of opening her own practice.

In 2008 the Echeverri Law Firm, P.A., first opened its doors. Since that time the firm has been loyally serving the community. As the founding and managing partner, Ms. Echeverri-George is committed to her practice and works fervently and relentlessly to ensure that every opportunity and effort is optimized in an effort to obtain the most favorable outcome for each client.
